Doll Dresses You Can Make With The Apple Pie Knitter (If You Have The Apple Pie Knitter)

The Apple Pie Knitter is a loom knitting toy from the 1970s that you can make doll clothes with. The clothes made with the Apple Pie Knitter were designated for Dawn, Tutti, Scooter, Barbie and Stacey, P.J., and Julia dolls. I bought my Apple Pie Knitter from eBay and I use it to make doll dresses for Barbie, Space Pop, Spirit, and Disney Descendants dolls. If you have the Apple Pie Knitter and some Barbie, Space Pop, Spirit, Disney Descendants, and vintage dolls, you can make some doll dresses with simple patterns.

The yarn you need to use if you want to make doll clothes with the Apple Pie Knitter is worsted weight yarn. (No animal fibers, please! That includes wool! If it has animal fibers in it, don't buy it! Animals need their hair/fur/wool! Go vegan and animal fiber-free!)

Here's some Apple Pie Knitter patterns that I made up,

1. Peppermint (for 1990s Barbie dolls)

Color(s) of yarn used: Red and white

Pattern (If you have red and white in separate skeins):
5 rows red
5 rows white

Pattern (If you have two-colored variegated yarn in which the colors are red and white):
45 rows of color A
